Become a Door County Land Trust Volunteer

They say a gathering stone gathers no moss. It's certainly true for the Land Trust's staff and volunteers! We have exciting new opportunities to learn and assist each and every month.

  • Assist with a special tour or outing

  • Birders can volunteer to participate in the bird count at Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal Nature Preserve

  • Assist with mailing parties, office tasks, filing or data entry

  • Outdoor work and land stewardship

  • Co-host a Dining for Open Spaces event

Whether you have just a few hours or several days per month, we will find a fulfilling and engaging task or project for you. Email us to find out more.

Join a Door Stewardship Alliance Work Party!

The Door Stewardship Alliance  (also known as DSA) was born in 2001 when the Door County Land Trust and The Nature Conservancy joined together to create a volunteer land management group to work at permanently protected properties on the Door Peninsula of Wisconsin.   Through pooling of volunteers and equipment, both organizations are able to more effectively protect and manage their preserves while engaging a larger audience than one organization alone may reach.  Click here to learn about upcoming Door Stewardship Alliance Work Parties.
