Join us for an exciting voyage to explore the Door County Land Trust’s 600-acre Chambers Island Nature Preserve. The preserve’s towering hemlocks, pines, red oaks and maples provide habitat to 171 birds. Participants will have three options for exploring the preserve: a 6-mile bike ride around Lake MacKaysee, a 4-mile hike along the north shore of Lake MacKaysee with a visit to the lighthouse, or a 2-mile birding hike from the north end of Lake MacKaysee to the sandy beach…
